Introducing our CNA certification WINNERS

Posted by on

MIP believes in providing education to anyone who is looking to expand their knowledge. We know that education can help shape one's mind and bring forth new opportunities.

In collaboration with the Canadian Nurses Association (CNA), two lucky nurses were allowed the opportunity to continue their education with a free MIP CNA certification, at the 39th National NSWOCC virtual conference.

Let's meet our CNA certificate winners and learn more about what drives them to learn...

Cathy O

During my 13 years as a surgical nurse in Guelph, I identified a big gap in pre-op and post-op care and education of our ostomy patients. I completed my NSWOCC course and am committed to bringing excellent evidence-based care to this vulnerable population.

Nicholas J-1

I've been a Registered Nurse for 20 years, working in pediatric rehabilitation. Although I hold two master's degrees, I'm still committed to continuing my education wherever and whenever possible. I plan to use my certification award to write the Wound, Ostomy, and Continence certification exam, which I know will help me in my field.

Congratulations to Cathy and Nicholas on their win and good luck to them on their educational journey.
