Pablo Rodriguez finds a treasure in his riding: MIP

On July 13, Mr. Pablo Rodriguez, Federal MP for Honoré-Mercier, visited MIP. During his visit, he had a tour of the plant and a chance to talk with the managers and employees of MIP.

Picture1-4During this meeting, Mr. Rodriguez discovered a strategic player in his electoral district. He was happy to learn that MIP is a Quebec company that has specialized in healthcare textiles for over 40 years. During this time, MIP had become a true leader in innovation and infection protection. Mr. Rodriguez also had the opportunity to meet the people who work behind the scenes to help protect healthcare workers and patients.

During the pandemic, MIP acted proactively and creatively to support our health authorities in protecting staff and patients by providing reusable isolation gowns and much more. MIP will never hesitate to continue its work with government authorities to support their efforts and protect citizens from another pandemic.

Recognized for his work in supporting the fight against climate change, Mr. Rodriguez was particularly sensitive to MIP's efforts to develop environmentally friendly solutions for the healthcare network. All products are reusable and therefore reduce:

  • Generated waste by 93%
  • Water consumption by 41%
  • CO2 emissions by 30%
